MVP Softball Academy is owned and operated by Camille Morgan. Camille is a previous collegiate softball player, instructor, reserve player for Athletes Unlimited Professional Softball League, and has played in multiple series against professional teams including USSSA Pride and FL Vibe during the 2022 summer season. She has coached at the college level as well spent three seasons as the head coach at Boca Ciega High School where the team finished the 2022 season as district runner-up.
Camille is from Seminole, FL and teaches softball players ages 8 and up the fundamentals and the strategies of the game she fell in love with at a very early age. Her playing career ended after 2 years of college experience due to a reoccurring spinal injury. She played one year at Hillsborough Community College (2010-2011) in Tampa, FL where she earned Second Team All Conference for hitting and Offensive Player of the Year Award. She was also ranked number 6 in the nation for fielding percentage with a 1.000 as a first baseman.
She also played one year at St. Petersburg College (2008-2009) in St. Petersburg, FL where she earned Second Team All Conference for pitching, ranked 11th in the state of Florida and 40th in the nation for strikeouts, and she batted in the top of her team.
Her high school experience was just as much a success, Camille graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in St. Petersburg, FL during the 2007-2008 season. She earned Second team All Pinellas for pitcher (1.74 ERA), was number three in the county in home runs, was awarded Most Valuable Player, and led the team to their first ever district championship game. While playing at Seminole High School from 2005-2007 she earned, 2006 First Team All Pinellas for hitting, 2006 Honorable Mention for pitching for the month of March, 2005 Second Team All Pinellas for pitching, and 2005 First Team All Pinellas North County as a designated hitter.
Camille also played at Seminole Little League from 2004-2006 in Seminole, Florida. In 2006 she led her team to the State Championship with power hitting, pitching, and catching. They received second in the nation. In 2004 she led her team to the district championship by pitching a no-hitter and striking out 14. She played gold level travel ball with the Tampa Mustangs and the Clearwater Bullets organizations. At the age of 16 she was invited to tryout for the 2008 USA Olympic Team.
Codie is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. He has a vast knowledge of human movement science, functional anatomy, physiology and kinesiology, as well as functional assessment and program design. He focus' on how powerful the ability to adapt can be. He incorporates muscle pliability work, functional strength and conditioning exercises into his routines, which are key pillars to staying strong, healthy and keeping his clients doing what they love most for as long as they can. He makes sure that all of his clients are using the correct muscle groups and mechanics while training because he believes that quality is better than quantity.
