Camille Morgan

MVP Softball Academy is owned and operated by Camille Morgan, a former collegiate athlete, professional reserve player, and dedicated coach.

Camille’s career includes being a reserve player for Athletes Unlimited Professional Softball League and competing against professional organizations such as the USSSA Pride and Florida Vibe during the 2022 summer season. She has coached at the college level, spent three seasons as the Head Coach at Boca Ciega High School—leading the team to a district runner-up finish in 2022—and now devotes her expertise to developing athletes of all ages through MVP.

A native of Seminole, Florida, Camille trains players ages 8 and up, teaching both the fundamentals and the advanced strategies of the game she fell in love with early in life. Her own playing career was cut short by a recurring spinal injury after two years at the collegiate level, but not before she built an impressive record:

  • Hillsborough Community College (2010–2011) – Second Team All-Conference (hitting), Offensive Player of the Year, and ranked #6 in the nation for fielding percentage (1.000) as a first baseman.

  • St. Petersburg College (2008–2009) – Second Team All-Conference (pitching), ranked 11th in Florida and 40th nationally for strikeouts, and a top hitter on her team.

High School Career

  • Dixie Hollins High School (2007–2008) – Second Team All-Pinellas (pitcher, 1.74 ERA), ranked 3rd in Pinellas County in home runs, awarded Most Valuable Player, and helped lead the program to its first-ever district championship game.

  • Seminole High School (2005–2007) – Camille was a two-way standout for the Warhawks, excelling as both a hitter and pitcher. She earned 2006 First Team All-Pinellas (hitting), 2006 Honorable Mention (pitching, March), 2005 Second Team All-Pinellas (pitching), and 2005 First Team All-Pinellas North County (designated hitter). Known for her power at the plate and ability to command the circle, she was a consistent leader who helped elevate Seminole’s program with both her performance and competitive spirit.

Youth & Travel Ball

At the youth level, Camille starred with Seminole Little League (2004–2006), leading her team to a State Championship appearance and a #2 national finish in 2006, and throwing a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts in 2004. She competed at the gold travel ball level with the Tampa Mustangs and Clearwater Bullets, and at just 16 years old, was invited to try out for the 2008 USA Olympic Team.

Today, Camille channels her competitive fire and lifelong passion for softball into MVP Softball Academy, where her mission is clear: Making Valuable Players.
